Argie is very sweet but she is very confusing. She does not speak clearly about our homework or projects. If you want to do some volunteer work for a class I would recommend her, but if you actually want to learn something, take a different class. I have talked to many other students and they say that she is confusing and the homework is not clear.

Although she isn't always the most organized professor, she is someone who simply loves teaching and wants nothing more than for all of her students to pass the class with flying colors. She's extremely flexible and easy-going as long as you put in the work on your end. Easiest A I've ever received.

A great professor. Get her assignments done on time (it's not hard), do any extra-credit opportunities available (there's a lot) and meet up with her and discuss any doubts you have. She'll help you out, even with stuff not related to class, so don't be afraid to ask. She's kinda disorganized. You'd have to be super lazy or dumb to get below a C.

Comment:
Fun, easy to work with, dedicated to service learning and to creative writing. Willing to work with students for whom creative writing brings out bad memories or underlying personal issues. A good shoulder to cry on and a good leader of discussion, even if it does get sidetracked-sometimes you learn more on tangents than in the "real discussion."

I really disliked her teaching style. She seems like a nice person, but she's way too scatterbrained for my taste. She was also very judgemental of my writing, although I've had tons of experience with writing, including winning essay contests. If you don't write her way, forget it.

The service learning project in this class was amazing, I loved being a part of it. However, Argie can be a very disorganized professor and her lectures are really hard to pay attention to. She does a lot trying to help students and will give you feedback if you ask, but is not the best lecturer.
