I love Barb. She's always been there for me and is very understanding. I also learn a lot from her lectures, since she breaks the gender barrier of Economics. She makes her students consider economic theory and practice from a more inclusive lens, instead of the typical upper-middle class white male one.

I absolutely love Professor Burnell. She is extremely helpful and is very knowledgable. My only recommendation is to make sure you take a class from her that she enjoys teaching like Public Finance or the Economics of Gender. Both awesome courses!

She is a very nice professor but she is hard to understand if you are not an econ major. She abbreviates most of the information and does not always show where some information comes from. I recommend only taking her class if you plan on majoring or minoring in econ.
