I love Prof Suess! she is a really great prof and she loves what she teaches. She does give you a lot of reading but she goes over all of them in class. Class is super important if you miss class you will be lost. Everything that you talk about in class is on the tests. 3 tests. no final. And a super fun creative project that is really fun to do!

Comment:

Great Professor, had her for 19th Century Women's Lit and am taking her again in the fall. A lot of reading for sure and attendance is a must to keep your grade up. Her grading was fair and always prompt.

She is a good professor. Syllabus is clear, work can be challenging but I definitely learned a lot from her. She is open to hearing everyone's opinions and gives a lot of good feedback and assistance when writing papers.

Great class, great professor. It's not easy, but if you go to class and do the work, you will succeed. Always available and amazing at reminding us to stay on top of things. I would take this class again or any class she teaches.

Dr. Suess (yes, really) is a very knowledgeable person in her field. 3270 (Literature & the Environment) was the first of it's kind & it wasn't bad all things considered. Be prepared to read a lot & the writing can be tricky but once you follow the guidelines you'll be fine. One problem is that she wasn't always clear on how she would grade a paper

Did not do my best but she is a great professor. She knows her subject well and she makes a point for you too. Classes don't follow a routine so they are not boring but are full of information. Her grading is fair, she lets you know what you need to improve on when it comes to papers. Would take again.

She thinks her course is the only course that matters in the world so even if you pass all of the assignments with a passing grade she will fail you if you are late by five minutes. Worst professor ever!

She was sort of clear with what had to be done, but she didn't really help students individually. PARTICIPATE IT CLASS. Also, it seemed like a class where it's like "you better understand it on your own or else...." We did not have a solid review at all for the midterm which could've been helpful, and the review she gave us seemed irrelevant to it.

SHe kinda monotone when she speaks and i found it easy to get bored, but she's a really nice person in general. the class is not hard but you HAVE to pay attention and attend. She's really nice, but she also FLIPPED OUT on our class and got a little crazy. Can be mean if you get on her bad side.

one of the kindest and most intelligent prof. at W.Paterson. She's also really young and cool, and class discussions are super interesting. 2 tests and 2 papers.. shes def. not a pushover,but if you read, participate and take notes you'll be fine.I've learned so much and have always looked forward to her class...ABSOLUTELY AWESOME.

You will write a lot, revise a lot but learn a lot. There is no midterm, but a final that is decent. This is definately one of the most useful classes I have ever had, and I worked hard and got what I deserved. Definately take the class, but don't slack off at the end like I did!

GREAT PROFESSOR...I AM TAKING A CLASS WITH HER AGAIN! SHE IS VERY NICE AND UNDERSTANDING, AND MAKES CLASS INTERESTING, HOWEVER SHE IS NOT AN EASY PROFESSOR! EVEN THOUGH SHE ALLOWS YOU A LOT OF ABSENCES, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND MISSING MUCH OF HER CLASSES, BECAUSE YOU WILL MISS A LOT, PLUS HER CLASSES ARE INTERESTING. I HIGHLY RECCOMMEND TAKING HER!

This is my second class with her and I still highly recommend her. She isn't easy, but she isn't the hardest teacher you'll have. Very friendly & helpful. Doesn't mind letting class out early every now & then.

I honestly didn't think that I would like this class, but she made it interesting. Her quizzes are a little hard, but you just have to study. The papers aren't that bad, though. I would take her again.
