Not a great lecturer but has so many resources to make sure students do well! He cares about his students; learns their names and provides them with any help he can. He makes sure you know exactly what will be asked of you before a test. He puts study guides and slides online, so the book necessary but can actually be a great resource. And funny!

great teacher, great sense of humor which is always nice. lots of memorizing muscles but not bad if you keep up on it. pretty hard class but interesting so it makes it easier. taking good notes and asking questions will help. loved the labs. can't wait to take another class!

Barry is a really nice and helpful professor. He is not helpful as a advisor (I would switch to Liz or Hutchins if you can) and not a great professor, but he tries. I think everyone has a soft spot for Barry Guitar.

Barry is my fav CMSI prof!! Willing to clarify confusing concepts, knows everyone's name, asks for constructive criticisms about class. Has a stutter, but its not too distracting. VERY funny in class, but allows for notes to be taken instead of always talking through them. Easy grade; quizzes open book/online, easy exams, a couple short papers.

He's really nice, and tries to get to know everyone's name, even in a big class. He uses powerpoint while teaching, and sometimes shows videos. He's also open to suggestions about how to change the class, or what to show during class.

one of the best professors i have ever had. funny, gets the whole class involved. runs all over the room to make his point. stutters, and is proud of it. made me want to be an SLP. on line quizes are vague, so watch out. fair grader - you work for your grade, but that's a good thing.

barry is my advisor...he is also THE****! he is such a good SLP and he is always clearing anatomy and concepts up so that we can relate. he isnt easy, but if you learn to love the material, you will love him! :)
