Ms. Eng is really a nice teacher. Comp isn't the most fun class, but stick through it and she'll appreciate your efforts and work with you. She always stops to help anyone who needs help. Just come to class, do your work, and you should be fine.

Took this course online. Its pretty much at your own pace. Minimal teacher involvement except for a mandatory orientation. Don't have to wait for the week to be opened but there are due dates and the tests are on specific dates and times if taken from home. Overall easy class if you know microsoft office. If not, everything is in the book.

Ms. Eng is the best Professor i have taken at Brookdale. I took her for Comp129 and as long as you put in the work you will get an A. There is a lot of homework but you can resubmit it as many times as you want for the highest grade. There are 5 tests in total but as long as you do the homework they will prepare you.

She is the best. Basically all you do is go on the computer and listen and follow her instruction and do the homework. Like this was the easiest A I had ever received. Take her, you won't regret it!

Eng was a good teacher. Overall the class was boring and long, all you do is follow what she shows you on the powerpoint then you have HW on it. If you go to the computer lab and do all your HW correctly you will pass with a great grade. All the tests are easy- we play a trivia game before that is practically the same qs on test.

Professor Eng is strict, but she works to help you succeed. She walks a fine line between compassion and no nonsense, which I love. If you are looking for a computer class which you don't have to work for, this is not it. But if you are serious about working and like a professor who will reward hard work, Professor Eng is it.

Prof Eng was awesome! If anyone says different, it would only be because they didn't want to put forth any effort. She explained every step and was very attentive toward the students. If you had a problem, she would catch you up with no problem. Awesome professor !!

Recently I attended her online class during the summer semester and she was very clear on her grading criteria and also on how the homework works online from home and in the computer lab! I definitely recommend to take advantage of going to the computer lab on where the tutors can help you . Also take the practice tests as many times as you can

Bernice is an awesome teacher. I really enjoyed being in her class. Her class was very basic. Fast pace, I had to go 2-3 times to the lab per week to keep up the pace. She will give you 2 group presentation in front of class. One research paper. The last test in the hardest . I passed with a 90. It was an easy Cumputer class but lots of work.

Comp 129 was really easy. If you show up and are awake through the lecture, its practically impossible to do poorly in this class. She gives homework every week, there are lots of tests, and a few projects, but she is a very fair grader. Also, she is very helpful if you are confused. If you try, you will do well. Easy A in my opinion.

took comp129 online in summer one and it wasn't too bad, the homework is the hardest part. She has practice tests which is the actual test to a T. I would go to comp lab and do practice test right before taking the actual test and pass no problem. The homework is confusing but if you go to comp lab they help you

I thought I knew alot about computers until I took this class. I learned alot that I can even use for my other classes. Professor Eng is helpful, plays games in class and gives extra credit. I am glad I took her class!

Professor Eng is the best. I transferred into her class mid semester after my other teacher resigned and she got me caught up. She was very helpful and a very sweet lady. I wish I took her class since the beginning of the semester. If you want to take a computer science class, I would strongly recommend Professor Eng. You will enjoy her class!

This class is whack to begin with and her bland teaching doesn't make it any better. Taking this class in the morning with her is a total drag. She makes learning the basics of Microsoft even dryer than you'd expect. Unless you want to slam your head on the keyboard from falling asleep from boredom, don't take this class with her.

1 of the best professors I've ever had. She's calm, patient and willing to help all the time. Grading is not hard and the way she sets up for grading is easy. Lots of extra credits. Great pace in teaching and reviewing. She puts her heart into teaching. Definitely the right professor for you.

Professor Eng let me make up work that I missed. I was gonna get a D grade but she really helped me and I got a B+!
