Registered for this class, never having this professor before. Class was in an odd building on campus that my swipe card would not allow me to access, as a result missed the first day of class. Attended the next class and there was absolutely no room to lay out materials and seating was limited around a small table. Was advised then to drop.

Dr. Del Rosso is one of the most influential teachers I have ever had. If you are scared of taking a class with a "hard" teacher, then why are you in college? The books are always outstanding, she has a broad knowledge and is extremely patient & willing to work with you, and once you finish the class, you'll feel amazing.

Jeana is very challenging. Don't expect any breaks from her. She pushes her students to their potential, even if it hurts. Def take her class if you can-just don't take any other classes that semester!

Dr. DelRosso is a very tough but fair professor. I learned more from her classes than any other English prof. She demands a great deal from her students, and she does not give easy As. However, when you earn an A, you know that you have really achieved something. I have a great deal of respect for Dr. DelRosso.

If you're not ready to seriously read, discuss, and analyze literature... don't take this class. However, if you ARE ready, I definitely recommend Jeana. She's hard, but she's fair (usually - not always), and she doesn't pretend not to be hard. She knows she is.

Very Challenging class. Teacher very knowledgable about post-colonial theory, but has very little skill in teaching writing. She creates a very stressful environment in the classroom. Also very inflexible, but you will learn much about post-colonial theory, and how to handle a very demanding stressful class. An experience should have ONCE!

WORST PROFESSOR EVER. Expects far too much, cares far too little. Isn't respectful of students AT ALL. Even the most liberal of liberals would find her annoying. Goes off on political tangents. If you are a feminazi, you will get along with her famously, otherwise TURN BACK NOW.

Seriously, if you find out you have this professor put a gun to your head now. Not only does she not respect her students, she is a horrible teacher, sets impossible expectations and has no structure to follow, yet when the expectations are not met, she freaks. Horrible horrible woman. Also, absolutely no sense of style, but thats another diatribe.

The was the hardest class I have ever taken. I barely had time to do work for my other classes. But, I cannot say anything negative about Jeana. She really expects a lot of her students beause she really believes that they are smarter than they think they are. She is fair, honest, and up front about her teaching style and grading policy. She does not pick favorites either. Everyone has an equal chance to succeed. Jeana is no nonsense. She is very helpful, however, if you have any questions or concerns.

Jeana expects a lot from her students, but is always willing to help them. She is fair, and is very clear about what is expected of you from the very begining.

I found her the most unfair, unreasonable and difficult prof I ever had. I knew it going in but had no choice; you have to take her to grad in Eng. She belongs teaching in grad school; I spent more time on her class than all others combined, times two. Feminist is not the word - radical is better

Jeana is the best professor I have ever had, she even tops Dr. Ritter. Jeana is very demanding, but with well reason. One learns so much from her classes, and besides that she is the hottest professor I've ever had! Jeana DelRosso is a hottie!!

If you aren't a feminist before her class, you will be afterward. Very interesting subject material, contemporary and relevant. Participate and DO NOT come to class late; suicide is less painful. You will read a TON, but learn so much.
