The best professor at GCSU. I heard that a lot of the other history professors are jealous of him. He is brilliant, funny, and a nice guy.

Dr. Bob is AWESOME so take him! He only lectures. I have never done good in history until now. He has funny stories for everything! If he focuses on a topic, take good notes. First 2 tests are 3 essays; you pick from a list of topics. Final test is multiple choice so you have to study a little more. You can miss up to 4 or 5 classes... i think.

All lecture class. Very interesting lecture with cool stories. When he focuses on a topic for a while, take notes instead of on side stories. Takes attendance and helps a lot outside of class. Exams are all bluebook short essays (3 per exam) with 5-6 topics to choose from per question (15-16 per test) so studying pays off. didn't use book. Easy A

Takes attendance. All lecture class. Very sweet guy. Knows history like none other. Not sure how he knows so much! Very entertaining teacher. Makes jokes and likes participation. Tests are not difficult if you study.. Make sure to know atleast 5-6 topics/people very well and you should be fine. Quizzes aren't bad either. Great class, easy A/B

Dr. Bob is truly amazing. Not only does he teach the best history class I've ever taken (and I'm a history major), but he also is the MC for the Jazz band! He opened the door of history to me and inspired me to go get more.

Dr. Wilson is an amazing professor. I loved his class. He's great at giving lectures, because the things that were taught in the class were interesting, and he was able to keep me interested. He graded us on two midterms and a final(all in short essay format). As long as you pay attention and study you'll do fine in the course.

Excellent prof. Doesn't adhere strictly to syllabus b/c wants you to learn a little bit thoroughly rather than breeze through everything with only mild understanding. Maintains enough humor so the lectures are never dull. Books helpful but not necessary. Grades only from in-class essay tests. Will deduct from "participation grade" if absent.

Class is based straight off of notes. Dont even buy the textbooks. Straight lectures. I actually find him pretty interesting most of the time. He makes some great jokes. He has 2 essay tests and a final. All you need to do is really study a few of the people he discusses and you will be fine. Plus he gives out extra credit for perfect attendance

TAKE DR. BOB! He's a great guy with a great sense of humor. Attendance isn't mandatory, the books aren't necessary, the tests are easy, no papers, and the lectures are usually interesting. Especially when he shouts in German!

Great and FUN professor. If you're interested in History, he's your guy. Class is all lecture and the textbook wasn't really worth buying in my case because I took good notes. 3 tests a semester - 2 that were essay format and 1 multiple choice final. I had an A all semester and ended up with a B after the final.

I had Dr. Wilson for many classes. Probably 5 or 6. He was the most compelling professor I ever had. He treated his students as colleagues. He had a great command of the room. Great stories. Great laugh. Now that I teach I find myself emulating many of his traits. I can only hope my students think I'm as cool as we thought Dr. Wilson was.
