Comment:

He is pretty nice, but if you take him online you WILL be lost. He doesn't answer vista emails or return calls. He gives videos to watch, but they rarely work. I would NOT suggest you take him for ANYTHING online. Face-to-face may better. The tests are open book. The assignments do not exist. Quizzes are not mandatory.

At the first class, I thought he would be an okay teacher. However, his lectures are long and hardely anything covered in class is something you could use on the tests. Goes on tangents with economics. I won't take him again, because I need someone who does not take shortcuts and does more than the bare minimum.

Dr Goff is very laid back, class is somewhat dull, but worthwhile. 3 exams, all online, 100 questions, 3 to 3.5 hours and 2 attempts each. Book is used mainly for exams, although it has valuable info as well. One group project, not too tough. I would take Goff again, he's straightforward and fair. Very smart, friendly guy.

Are you kidding me?!? Great prof. Dr. Goff is not so much worried about your grade as he is worried about you learning something valuable. Test are online. Long tests but easy. Two attempts. Take him for everything!

Dr Goff is one of the most amazing professors I have had at UHD. He is very knowledgeable, easy to listen to, and a very fair grader. Take him if you can!!

You really need to take this guy. Come on people... he is so easy. I tried taking him for two classes in one semester but got booted because of a prereq. Listen to what he has to say about real issues in the world. He's a very smart man. Test are all online and long but easy. Huge curve.

At first it's difficult to pay attention to him since he sounds monotone, but if you listen you will realize he is very smart. Tests are on-line and straight from the book. I found him even kind of funny. You have to study for this class, but he's a good prof.

A very chatty Cathy kind of teacher... can go off on tangents but is VERY laid back. The tests are from a test bank, they are online, so you are able to use your book. However they are 100 questions in length!!! Not too bad, interesting text.

He talks more than he teaches but gives plenty of time to turn in assignments. All of his test were given through webct, and he usually gave us 4-7 days to take it. he also curves grades

Dr. Goff is extremely boring, but now that he is giving his test online I would suggest taking him (you can use your book). He does not answer any emails, phone calls, or even letters. It is impossible to get in touch with unless you are in his class.

You'll never learn anything in this class. He is horrible! If you take him, don't even bother going to class, his lectures are boring and most aren't even on the exam. He never replies to his emails, and never post grades. We never got our grades for our case analysis which is worth 200 pts, twice as much as what the exams are worth.

The book and him will fall asleep listen to himself. He once fell asleep reading the review. One thing good is No taking notes, because its in the book.

Comment:

Good professor, encourages participation. Exams are open notes & he tells you what will be on it. One complaint I have is that he mumbles A LOT & it is hard to hear him. Also, he should take more control of the class instead of letting students run their mouths with each other. It's so annoying, but he doesn't do anything about it.
