He's a guy who teaches a class that in most cases would be boring and full of tedious work but rather makes into an enjoyable and reasonable one. His teaching style is very fluid, no due dates but you have many easy assignments and 4 presentations to do and you are responsible for doing them and it is up to you how you want to do them.

Do the weekly "summary" for each chapter, the 3 presentations (1 with a partner), and a couple of short paragraphs about what happened in the class before and you've got your A. You can do the presentations whenever you want, literally half the class didn't present anything until the last few classes

He is an amazing teacher. The class is a long boring lecture, but as long as you do the Top 10 and the 3 other presentations, which are simple you will be fine. My friend never spoke or came and she got a B+. I became friends with him spoke, did all the presentations, and got an A. Not much stress is gone into this class you can relax and pass.

Wouldn't say his class is an easy A, it does require you to do work! There are a bunch of assignments for paper work as well as talking in front of the class. Participation is important! If you do the work assigned as well as all the oral work and participate, you'll do good!

Professor Anderson's rhetoric class is extremely entertaining, as well as relaxed and easy as hell. You basically show up, he'll discuss the current topic and give some really interesting stories from his life, and you go home. You do have to: - write a small reaction paper for each class - present in front of the class Great professor!

Hedstrom is by far my favorite professor at Hofstra. He doesn't give number grades back. The syllabus will definitely seem overwhelming, but it isn't at all. I have literally looked for classes taught by him. Most inspirational professor I've had, definitely an easy A and an enjoyable class. No feedback will ever give him justice. MUST take him!

By far the best professor I've had at Hofstra. He's great. Gives you like 3 3-5 page papers to write over the course of the semester which are really easy, in addition to two 1 page papers due each week. You will not regret taking his class.

This was a pretty good class. A little boring because its spcm and you have to take it. Hedstrom is soo nice though. He tries to keep the class interesting. My public speaking skills definitely improved and he really made the class a comfortable atmosphere. Easy A.

awesome professor and awesome class. I had a horrid fear of public speaking and I got over it in his class. if you are scared of public speaking then he is the professor to take. he is so wise..he loves what he does. all work he gives you is necessary to know for life and doesn't give out exams because he doesn't believe in them. take hedstrom!

This is literally the best class I've taken at Hofstra. I learned an incredible amount about myself and the world. Hedstrom is someone you really want to learn from He's very clear with what he expects and doesn't bs you. Do yourself a favor and take his class if at all possible.

really great class and its nice that its only once a week especially because he lets you out early more often than not. i loved his class and truly enjoyed it. this would be a good class to take if your afraid of public speaking (dont do it much in here, he does most of the talking) or need to get a CP distribution out of the way..take him

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVED him. take him if you can!!! 3 hour class went by fast and he usually lets us out early. homework was to summarize the chapter in the textbook- very easy, but useful. such a nice guy with so much wisdom. i wish he taught more classes at hofstra, i'd take them in a heartbeat. do not miss out on taking his class

Professor Hedstrom is truly a well rounded renaissance man. He is by far my favorite professor I've had at hofstra. He is sincere and will teach you lessons you will use forever.
