He was not a hard professor. Literally just had to summarize readings 7 throughout the semester which is super easy. No analyzation or anything. Only thing is that those summaries and final exam are worth 50% each. Summaries 50%, final 50%. Said he would grade final exam harsher, but I would recommend to Deff take for an easy grade.

Comment:
Pros: Brilliant, very funny (dry sense of humor), light workload (a few pages of synopsis every few weeks), final is an 8-10 pager. Cons: Class moves very slowly, will not switch topics until every last question is exhausted. Basically, if you're interested in Medieval Philo or Metaphysics a definite take, not for the disinterested.

Great Professor in that he knows his stuff. He is one of the leading scholars on the philosophy of religion and has his own Wikipedia page! Anyway The fundamental problem in the course was that he did not require any analysis prior to the final. So when the final came along there was no conception of what the analysis is supposed to be like.

This guy cracks me up. He looks like a high school student that shops at GAP kids, but he has a lot of background on Aquinas. He has the typical dry British humor and will not move onto new topics until everybody in the class gets the concept.

Clear and helpful. Dr. Davies uses down-to-earth examples, and encourages students to try ideas out for themselves. Very approachable for help, and he has a delightfully startling sense of humour, as well as an inherent kindness that students can sense.
