Bruce is an awesome professor. He is laid back and he teaches spanish in a very un-stressful manner. He cares about his students and he wants everyone to do good in his class. He's very funny and its actually enjoyable to go to class. If you have the chance I highly suggest taking spanish with him you will not regret it.

Loved him!! He was very funny and loved his fotonovelas :) Dr. Gartner made things interesting and fun... Most of the time. I had an issue come up and he was very understanding and helpful! Great class.

He is so nice... I don't know how anyone can really take his jokes offensively...get a sense of humor. Would go out of his way to help a student in a heartbeat! He is also very good at helping you understand Spanish! Great Professor!

The class is not what i thought it would be. We move very slowly and it takes some getting used to. Other than that he is open to about anything and he wants learning to take place. He is easy compared to Dr. Martinez but you get what you put into the class.

Dr. Gartner is only rude to those who sleep in his class and/or are rude to him! I loved his class he's a very good teacher! My suggestion: wear pajama pants to his class he'll have such a convorsation in spanish about pajamas and sleeping - it's great!
