Awesome class and awesome professor. Was skeptical before taking class but it was very unique and fun. Didn't expect it to be that great. Wouldn't mind taking another course with him. He makes things interesting. Also, there were no tests or a textbook. Just a fun group project at the end of the semester.

Jere is a great guy. I loved both his acting for non-majors and intro to theatre class. He is so fun and uses interesting tecniques to make the class worthwhile. One of the most inspiring professors I've had at CSUS. Pretty much no homework or studying. Very easy, laid back guy. Mastered his craft. Take his class- you'll love it. :)

Jere is charming, funny and an increadible acting coach. One thing is crucial to this class, however. One has to be able to release their inhibitions and really open up, which can be hard sometimes.

Gere is extremely funny. He always has a great story to relate to almost any sittuation. The class deffinatley helps individuals become more comfortable with who they are. He provides an atmosohere where the class feels like a family. You will get out of this class what you put into is.. so step up to the plate and be prepared to grow.

I totally agree with the previous post about putting his wife as "Hamlet".... the same people are cast again and agian in CSU Stan productions. What is the point of an "audition"? Recycled actors make for tired, predictable performances. And PS: His menthods are weird, and make no sense whatsoever.
