These last few comments are ridiculous... Professor Ybarra is the best professor I have ever had and I have learned so much! She requires perfect attendance/participation, hates late walk ins and no laptops during class. Her case write ups, group project and exams are difficult and required a lot of hours outside of class but she is WELL worth it.

Comment:

Professor Ybarra is one of the best professors in the Business at Chapman's Business School. Simply put, she is a boss, and she is one of those professors whom you instantly respect. I am in awe of her intelligence and dedication to her students. She truly loves what she does. TAKE HER CLASS FOR CAPSTONE.

She is hands down one of the best professors in this university.Her class can be difficult because her tests require you to know the material instead of testing you on dumb stuff you'll never use. Comment:

Easily one of the best professors in the business school. She is great at keeping students interested and keeping class discussion going. Case studies are easy A's. Her tests can be tricky, but she gives you a study guide which helps immensely. I am pretty notorious for missing class, but Ybarra makes me WANT to attend her classes.

Comment:

Very clear about requirements, available outside of class and via email. If you study what she tells you and put effort into assignments you will do well. I missed class and assignments too much, but otherwise would have aced the class. Really interesting Capstone professor.

Professor Ybarra is a great person & a good teacher. That being said, her classes are very difficult. She's happy to help if you ask for it, but unfortunately can't offer much beyond advising you to show up for the lecture & read the book after. Her tests are hard & some questions are tricky. Be prepared to study your butt off for a passing grade.

Management is the easiest subject ever, and she seems oblivious in how she makes it difficult. She is way too hard! She makes simple concepts unclear, and has a hard time organizing information. She is a great person and really nice, but not that good of a professor. She belongs in the business world, not the academic

Candace is the best overall professor I have taken at Chapman. She has both a depth and breadth of knowledge. The class is well structured, not easy, but helps pull all of the other classes together.
