I had learned this previously, so I had little trouble. She had to teach the others repeatedly, which suggests that something was wrong. Her focus is on conjugation, yet she tells them to "feel it." They don't get it, and she mocks them or shakes her head. Vocab tests are recall, meaning no longterm comprehension. I just think she is a bad teacher.

A very sweet woman. Rather motherly, actually. She adjusted the class to FIT THE PEOPLE SHE IS TEACHING (imagine that). Excellent speed, very eager to help, and she wants to teach people the subject. A rare breed in teaching. A+++ Would love to take her again.

I got an A in 110, then I got Igoa for 111 and dropped with a D to salvage my GPA. Came back with a different teacher and got an A. Nuff said. This lady takes Elem. Span. a little too seriously. She puts students on the spot in class and grades VERY hard. Plus, Lots of the Spanish whiz kids love her, which makes it even more annoying.

Great professor. I learned alot. She really adjusts the pace of the class for those who are learning at a slower pace. She takes each class as it is and teaches accordingly.

She is a great teacher. She speaks 4 languages fluently. She understands the Spanish language extremely well. She isn't afraid to correct your Spanish. But how else are you going to learn to speak better? Very helpful. Don't take her if you don't want to learn Spanish.

Anyone who ragged her and her class probably never did any of their homework, nor studied for any tests. Nor, I'm sure did they pay any attention. They probably missed their cushy, learn-nothing high school class. She is a brilliant linguist.

I had her for 110 and 111 and I wasn't too impressed. She was helpful on tests, but anyone stumbling over the language was curtly corrected or embarassed. If you pay incredibly close attention and mimick her pronunciations exactly, you should be fine.

Extremely cultured, intelligent woman. I learned a ridiculous amount from her. She's a great choice for the serious Spanish student, but I can see why those that are indifferent might choose to steer clear (you have to work).

I've had her for 110 and 111. I will not take any more spanish at icc with the knowledge that she is the only 210 and 211 teacher. I just don't think she teaches clearly. I don't like her class. She makes fun of you for not knowing her language.

I have had her for 110,111 and 210. She is very nice and is willing to help you when you have trouble. She is not very easy, you will have to work in this class. She explains things very well but you have to get used to her spanish accent. Se divirte!
