Professor Dessin is a very nice person with an inviting personality. The problem is her teaching style. I felt like the class was largely self taught with the reading, plus there was very little organization. Her power points were basically just slides with the restatements on them. Everyone was confused pretty much the whole time...

Even though my grade wasn't so great, I still LOVE Professor Dessin. She is very easy to talk to, doesn't mind helping outside of class and can make a 3 hour evening tax class interesting. She's amazing!

I love Professor Dessin. She's laid back, discusses real issues, and encourages participation. She also integrates current events into class. I definitely recommend taking anything with her.

I have this professor for contracts, and she is great. She is probably the best professor at Akron Law. She is understanding and tries to help students understand the material without making them look stupid if they don't understand what she is asking them.
