Great professor. Passionate about what he does and really cares for his students. Gives you real life examples of all the material and is very clear in conveying the information. Always makes sure everyone is on the same page and any questions are answered.

Far and away the most gifted instructor I've every encountered. I looked forward to this class every week, and wish it would have been 2 semesters. If you listen in class and take good notes, you will do well in this class. Doesn't make you read every case in the book. I highly recommend Prof. Cole to anyone who loves learning about the law.

By far my favorite law school professor. He makes really complicated stuff actually make sense. Super helpful, never makes his students feel stupid. Really laid-back, class is always fun. Definitely take his classes if you can!

Cole is great - a real lawyer - really teaches you how to be a lawyer - his exams are fair, but hard, you learn from him. He teaches so you remember and gives you a sense of what it means to be an attorney. Take D. Cole of you can! Most useful and practical.
