horrible teacher, very religious and she expects you to be as well. Dr. Eddy pushes her views on you and makes you relate religion to whatever texts you are writing about. Once she assigns a mark it is useless to try and talk to her about it because she doesn't seem to care. Not a people person at all.

Strict and demanding but so knowledgeable on topic that it makes me hurt. I earned every mark I got and am better for it. Truly helpful as she will read and critic essays before final draft. Very accessible and encouraging --- certainly expects the best from each student.

I'm a very poor judge of professors, but I quite enjoyed Dr. Eddy's class. I've never encountered her in her capacity as dean of arts, but from what I do know of her, the accusations on this site are far from accurate.

Let's take a moment here and consider who is writing these comments. "I wish I have never met you"; "teachers decision"; "isnt one good thing"; "if your not Lutherin"; "doesnt care." Clearly, you are all very poor English students. Learn to spell, punctuate, and write with correct grammar and maybe Dr. Eddy will cut you some slack.

The whining on here is ridiculous. Catherine Eddy is a tough prof who expects standards from her students. If you can't even spell "Lutheran" that's part of the problem. Not to mention, she's not even Lutheran herself, so your comment doesn't count for much. She's the main reason I succeeded at Concordia - really helpful if you try hard.

There isnt one good thing to say about this lady. By far one of the worst human beings put on the face of the earth. No compassion, no compromising with her.
