Amazing!! Definitely recommend taking. Do all of the readings and short discussions and you will pass. There are only 2 essays and one research paper.

Professor Thwing was wonderful! I took her class online and was pleased overall. There are quite a few discussion posts involved and 3 essays but its easy stuff. I highly recommend her!

Professor Thwing made the class very interesting. The instructions were always clear and she made it extremely easy to contact her if we had any questions. She is definitely the best professor I've ever had.

Comment:

Had an intuitive sense for providing writing prompts where everyone could relate to at least one prompt. I took her WRT 102 course, and the most understated part of her class was the organization of the layout online. I'm disorganized naturally, so having a pre-done checklist with due dates included helped tremendously.

Comment:

I always hate writing/English courses, but Cathy made it bearable. She doesn't bog you down with busy work. You have the readings, two discussion posts, and one essay for each section, and there were 3 or 4 sections. The essays are easy, no length req. She grades very quickly. The final essay is a research project 7-10 pages long, but pretty easy.

Comment:

Cathy was a great teacher who was legitimately interested in what students wrote. She encourages you to be creative and make your papers interesting. Offers valuable constructive criticism. WRT102 was one of the more enjoyable classes I have taken.

The class is not easy, lots of reading and writing but she is flexible, lets you turn in homework late (within a reasonable timeframe), and lets you resubmit things after she's given you feedback. The feedback she gives is very practical and productive and overall helped me be a better writer. The class is great if you put in the time and effort.

Cathy is amazing! I took her WRT 102 Class online and I did not stress or struggle. She answers all your questions and gives helpful feedback, she isn't picky and is very friendly. I highly recommend taking her classes.

Loved this class! This class made me feel confident in my writing again - her criticism is always constructive and helpful, never negative or mean. She is very friendly and organizes the class well. It is never overwhelming as long as you work on it a little each day. All assignments are pretty easy as long as you do the readings.

I liked her so much I wish I could take he again but looks like she only teaches wrt. She is a very fair greater she gives 100% on everything as long as you do it correctly the only thing she seems to grade rough on is final drafts of all four papers. At first I thought it was a lot of work but it's not bad at all. Very friendly and enthusiastic.

Thwing was a great teacher. Very nice and reply's to questions quickly. She is not strict on deadlines, and will still give you full credit for assignments that are turn in 2-3 days late. Also she gives 100% points for most minor assignments completed such as discussions and short papers. Thwing is only a strict grader on the 4 finals essays.

Cathy was a great professor. She was really helpful and gave great feedback. She answered my emails promptly and it was the best online class I have ever taken. I would recommend her to anyone who is taking an online class. She was not strict at all when it came to deadlines, really flexible and easy to understand.

I enjoyed this class and Professor Thwing was a great teacher. I emailed her quite a few times asking about how I could improve my writings and she really helped. One time she even re-read one of my essays and gave me a higher grade. If you have a question just ask! I would definitely recommend her to others!

Great teacher! Very easy to talk to, more than willing to help you, expectations are clear, easy to keep track of your grade. I would highly recommend her. PCC needs more teachers like Prof. Thwing!
