Such a great teacher! I am not a SM student but I needed this class to graduate from USD and took it over 4 weeks in the summer and learned so much! He stays after class to help you, but makes you think constantly until you figure out the answer yourself. Highly recommend him!

Best Physics Professor Ever! Great lectures, tons of knowledge, and extremely helpful. Requires goods amount of studying, but then again it's physics.

Pretty cool professor. He enjoys the subject and makes learning fun. This is not a rote memorization class. Textbook is helpful (to a point). He provides online study guides for tests. Very little writing requirement. Homework is all online. Grades are curved slightly. Go to class, do the homework. You should do well.

The best teacher! He is incredibly intelligent, but is able to dumb it down for his students and teach very hard subjects VERY well. He does not curve, so this can make it difficult, and you will get the grade you earn. But, if you ask him any questions he will have you understanding the material in no time! SO NICE AND APPROACHABLE!

I had him back in Spring 04 for Physics 203 which is modern physics. Relativity was a MIND. JOB. But he explained it carefully and precisely. He along with Dr. Karas got me mesmorized into physics. I still, to this day, ~18 months later can recall a lot of modern physics concepts w/o much looking up.

Very good professor!!! He gets so excited about the course and gets the students that way also. This class was very interactive. He always had us doing group work and activley participating in class. Though some of the material is very difficult, he will not move on until he feels every understands. Best prof I've had at this school!!!!!

Awesome Professor. I loved his teaching. He was very enthusiastic, and very good at keeping the pace fast enough so that it wasnt boring, but slow enough so that everyone in the class could keep up. There was almost no homework. And any reading he stressed was always gone over in class. The tests were always so well gone over ahead of time, that it was almost impossible to fail. Professor DeLeone was just great. I reccomend him to anyone who may have a hard time with physics.

Very good teacher, tries to make it interesting, kind of like Mister Rogers teaching physics--gives good, fair tests right from the notes, very fair grader, gives lots of partial credit, ask him anything, he''s very helpful, disagree with a grade, explain what you mean, you'll probably get credit

Makes the class entertaining. He is nice as can be and very understanding on grades. At times can feel like watching the science guy on TV, but bearable. Reminds me of Bob Saget (the dad from Full House).....don't believe me take the class!!

Awesome, enthusiastic teacher. No book for the class, just notes to download. He won't help until u have spent a lot of time struggling on your own to figure it out. But he is really supportive and really easy to talk to

Physics is brutally far from easy, but he enjoys it and goes out of his way to make sure you understand it. Is willing to help you out any time, and goes the extra mile to make sure you get it. One of the best profs on the campus in my opinion.
