Awesome professor. Really made me love accounting more than I thought I would. He is extremely accessible outside of class and even comes in on his days off to help you if you can't find any other meeting times. He definitely cares about your success. Lecture heavy but goes around the room if you need help. He is very clear and organized. Loved it.

Amazing professor! Deeply cares for his students. Responds within minutes(hour tops). The class(online)was tough but if you make sure to read and understand the basics you will do great. I hate math but he taught me not all math is the same. I now plan to get a double major in Accounting. Dreaded this class the most but ended up loving it the most.

Professor Merryman is that rare devoted teacher who actually cares about his students. The clarity of info put on the board along with his tips to study & remember helped me a great deal. Availability YES. As many times as needed for you to grasp the material. The classroom lectures were interspersed with personal info that helped you to remember.

Professor Merryman is a great teacher. I would read the accounting chapter before class and it made almost no sense but when he explains the chapter it all makes sense. He is funny in a nerdy way and a generally nice guy. Overall he is an excellent accounting professor.

Mr. Merryman is the best instructor you could ever get in accounting. He gives you as much help that you need but he can't help you if you don't ask. He knows the material and will explain it to you as many times as you need to get it and he'll rephrase it so you can understand it. I'm going to miss having a class with him now that I am done.

One of the best teachers i have had at JCC, i got to RIT now and i wish i had a teacher that stayed after or that i new i would be able to get soo much help. His tests are very basic and to the point, no surprises..great guy
