Dugan is awesome, having taken him for Stats and Social Psych and having transferred to UC Irvine, I appreciate the structure of his class. Very fair grading, and he is unbiased which is one of my favorite things about the guy. Appreciate him! If you don't that means you're probably heading to a CSU or something unchallenging like that.

His teaching style is highly unethical and he rambles on for hours and he lets his ego get in the way, he cant go one slide without mentioning where he went to school and he literally will never stop talking about something he did. He talks to quick, he gives you vague responses to questions and he gives students attitude when they ask questions.

He is really straightforward and exam is easy. His way of teaching is kind of complicated so lots of kids always complained about that, but as long as you read his class packet, you would be ok. Also he is really helpful. Even if you ask the same question over and over again like hundred times, he would definitely answers.

honestly, when I first saw this professor I thought he would make a great Santa if he put on some weight. He talks fast but most of it is irrelevant so don't worry. midterms are very simple questions and the class is very vocab based. if you understand the terms you will be fine. try not to miss class, take evey mini quiz and study from them.

I was afraid to take this class but its no as bad as expected. The material is very challenging but he's study guides basically tell you everything you need to know for the test. He's very helpful. However he's lectures are brutal. He talks so fast you can barely keep up.

Going to the tutor is a must! They have previous work from that class. And you should complete all the hw. Gives hints to mini quizzes he has in class. He talks super fast but he's a pretty nice guy, super understanding. You should be able to pass if you somewhat try. Test can be hard I failed each one but passed the final.

The class is really straightforward and he makes it so easy to pass. The work is difficult but if you just spend some time to study for the midterms and test you will do fine!! The people saying its hard probably did not put effort into the class. But I do agree it is painfully boring

He should be teaching a graduate class, not an intro class at a city college. He's really all over the place and incredibly intelligent. And the information you need for the class is spread between the course notes, the book, and his emails so it's very difficult to know exactly what you need to be studying. I really wish I'd had another teacher.

Gets a bad rap but that's mostly because people hate stats. Goes out of his way to make the material clear, including an easy-to-read summary of the entire textbook. Lectures are long and monotonous, but clearly explain the concepts behind each calculation you'll need to perform. Pay attention and you'll get an A.

Stats may be a boring class but keep up with the hw, go to Yuri (the tutor), and study for the quizzes. if you do this, youll be able to participate (which he notices!). Not an easy A but it felt so rewarding knowing that Id worked hard for it. -Bare through his lectures -GO TO THE TUTOR -DONT fall behind. -Take this class before PSY200

Can be quite unclear when he goes through new material. In addition to that, he also talks very fast, which makes it hard to follow. He also has a tendency to ramble. However, he makes it very easy to get a good grade in his class. E.g., out of the 20 mini quizzes, he only counts the top 12 towards your grade. You get a cheat sheet for final exam.

Go see him if you have questions, see the tutor, study for the mini quizzes, pay attention, and do HW and you will be fine. I never read once, just used the book for HW and got a 97% in his class. I am not a genius, I just did what it took to pass his class. Really cool guy, looks like a skinny gandelf, and he will make it interesting.

People say Dugan's class is hard, but he gives you everything you need to pass. He gives you thorough mini quiz hints and study guides, and the tutors are extremely helpful. It seems hard because he's really smart and talks fast, but I went to the tutors and they made everything easier to understand. You should take this for PSY200 not MATH 117

I took this class knowing that it would be pretty difficult. The lectures tend to be very scattered and unclear, but Dugan is extremely intelligent and knows what he's talking about. I basically failed both midterms but aced the final and passed with a B. If you're not great at tests, do all the homework and ace the mini quizzes and you'll be ok!

Dugan is a really nice guy and he's happy to help you if you ask for it, however his expectations can be very unclear. While he does give study guides, students often felt very confused as to what they should be studying for the test. I felt like none of the classes were worth attending as lectures were not helpful; I showed up only for thepoints.

He is a very smart man and admire him for that but his minds wander in a thousand different directions when he gives class and you dont know what is happening. His classes arenormally two hrs long and he will NOt stop talking until the two hrs are over. Hardest class I have taken at CC. Had not clue what was going on since September.

Professor Dugan is very boring and talks very fast which makes it hard to understand. When asking for help, he barely explains. Lots of group projects and mini quizzes everyday which help grade. But no curves on any tests, which he grades pretty hard.
