Poff Daddy C is THE best English teacher I have ever met. Not only is he an amazing teacher, but a very cool and genuine person. I have never loved English so much, Thank you Poff!!!!

Comment:

Poff is clearly an education genius. Be prepared to read... a lot... but also to enjoy reading, discussions, and group participation. There's no end to the joke or learning. The assignments are actually easy to maintain as long as you stay on top of them instead of leaving for the last minute. Wish I could take another course with Poff!

This is the best man to ever walk the halls of CVCC. Everybody loves him, and he loves everybody. He cares about each of his students. I wish he would transfer to my 4year college with me so I could keep him as my professor. All you have to do is show up to class, READ, and by all means do NOT wait until the last minute to complete the final paper.

Hes an amazing teacher. He really works with his students to ensure that you know what your doing and that youll be able to pass. Hes extremely kind and understanding and is willing to work with you as long as you ask. His office is the best place to sit and contemplate life. Best professor ever.

Always easy to reach and hilarious of course, but beyond that, he really inspires his students to learn and gain all that they can from his course. However, it is not a drag or a bother to do so, it is fun, exciting and intriguing. My only complaint, is after taking his course I want to take more courses taught by him.

Absolute best professor I've had thus far! Poff wants his students to learn and succeed, and he does so by making the class fun and enjoyable. I can easily say that I look forward to coming to class every day. He gives wonderful feedback and makes time for all his students. Poff knows how to put a smile on his students' face. Definitely recommended

Poff is incredibly knowledgeable about everything that he talks about. He makes sure that everyone participates in class discussion, and his class is generally a light-hearted environment. If you're absent one day just shoot him an email and you're generally ok. His office is a fire hazard, but it has candy and a coffee maker open to all.

Poff is a fantastic teacher. He knows his subjects and makes it easy to understand. He's always willing to work with students on papers and assignments. If you take his class READ the books. Also, do NOT wait to start the final paper unless you like all night frantic writing cause your paper is due the next morning.

3 tags does not justify Mr. Poff. he is hilarious, inspirational, and has a clear grading criteria as well. One of the best professors here at CVCC. if any student needs to take english to meet their graduation requirements. try to get this man as your english professor. you will have a great semester and tons of laughs.

As the first college ENG I was expecting a tedious, useless course. To my surprise, it was the more practical and intellectually stimulating (in a good way!) than all four years of HS! 6 absences you should fail the course per syllabus, however, if you're bright, respectful, and make an effort but having a hard time adjusting he may take off less

He is passionate about and great at what he does, and he's very helpful to all of his students. I hated English in high school, but you can't not love being in his class because he knows what hes doing and he's hilarious. You do have to put some work into this class, but as long as you read the books you should be fine.
