Comment:

Professor Goldman is one of my favorite professors! Ive taken multiple PSYCH classes with her. Her classes may feel boring at times but she is great at getting you understand the material without making it hard. Easy A !

This professor doesn't seem to be interested in student progress. She's tough on students and expects more out of you than what you should be giving. This class was online but was completely self-taught as she didn't want to answer emails or grade papers for nearly the whole semester. I've taken previous classes with her in person and that was bad!

Dr. Goldman is an amazing professor. I took her Adolescent Development class and it was so interesting and she is such a nice lady. One of the best professors I had had. I really recommend taking any of her classes!!!

I've taken Prof G twice. She's a sweet lady who means well, but I prob wouldn't take her again. Easy to pass but lectures are extremely dull and boring. She knows her stuff but isn't great at conveying info to students. Easy homeworks, 3 tests (essay+online MC), 2 projects. MC part of exams is from the book, not really what you cover in class

Comment:

This professor doesn't seem to know what she is doing. She knows the information she is attempting to teach, but her teaching style is terrible. She uses resources online that she doesn't know how to work herself. We spent a good half of the semester fighting technological issues. The class felt like a waste of time. Don't take her class.

Comment:

Cheryl was a very nice woman and definitely meant well. She allowed plenty of open discussion in her class, however she didn't know how to command a room. She had little to no presence. Very scatterbrained and all over the place. Assignments were difficult because what was expected was never clear and inconsistent grading.

Comment:

Adolescent Psych was a pretty easy class to pass but it was a little hard to keep up with the ever-changing due dates. Cheryl is a very sweet woman but a lot of people in my class found her to be a bit scatterbrained which led to confusion at times. There are quite a few essay assignments but the tests were all take-home and not too hard.

I took Human Growth & Development with Cheryl Goldman freshman year. Sitting through class can be pretty boring, although she knows the material very well. She told the class,that another section of her class took the final online, so I complained, and convinced her to let us take an open book final! If you need a psych class, this is an easy A!

Really good teacher, but her teaching methods are horrible. She goes through notes too quickly and when asked to slow down she says the PowerPoint are online, and they don't match up to what she presented in class. Incredibly boring, talks in a very monotone voice. other than that very understanding about things.

She's a very nice lady and means well. She knows what she's talking about but unfortunately what she says isn't usually relevant to her quizzes and tests. Thankfully the tests, quizzes, and papers are typically easy and it's not hard to get an A. All I can say is read the book or you're not going to do very well. Overall I didn't mind her class.

Had her for Human Growth and I honestly regret taking her class. She is EXTREMELY unclear with what she expects for papers/projects. Her tests are easy as they're online, but the class overall is a snooze. She is knowledgeable but dont bother asking her a question because she'll answer it indirectly.

Anyone who said she doesn't know what she's teaching is stupid. She knows exactly what she's teaching, she's very knowledgeable- her problem is connecting with the students. Tests are easy because you can just COPY THE ANSWERS FROM THE BOOK. Also, she practically GIVES away answers for the tests. The lack of connection is what makes it boring.

I have never had a teacher from the Jurassic Period, but I can at least tell all of you to NEVER take this woman's class. I took "Human Growth and Development" & its about the life span of people. We spent the entire semester on babies and NONE of her tests had anything to do with the lectures in class. Horrible professor. negative reviews dead on.

I've only been in her Socio-Emotional class for two weeks and I already wish I hadn't taken it. Our first assignment (which we had 2 days to do) is the equivalent of a take-home exam and has nothing to do with what we're supposed to be learning. All she does in the lecture is read off the Powerpoint slides and define terms.
