Dr. Carrico is a sweet and caring person. Outside of class, you can talk to her about pretty much anything. However, when it comes to class, she is unorganized. Her lectures can be all over the place. She also constantly tells students to refer to the syllabus, which is very text heavy and not organized well, if they ask a question.

By far the worst professor I have ever had. She never teaches or lectures you about what is going to be on the tests. She just talks about herself the entire time. Whenever I had to talk to her she was always rude.

Ok. Dr. C can go on about her nieces....this is true...HOWEVER, if you pay attention you actually will learn the material covered. I got my BA at Elmhurst and went on for the MS and am going for the PhD, and she remains the single hardest but most knowledgeable professor I've yet had.

Dr. Carrico is a very good professor. She is very helpful and wants to get to know every student. Yeah she talks about her neices and nephews but it is early CHILDHOOD language development. It is relevant and interesting.
