So funny. Very flexible with assignments. Pay attention to his first couple of lectures, theyre important. I didnt listen and ruined a lot of film. Overall really fun and easy class. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing professor! he is so fun and kind. class is time consuming but easy and fun if you enjoy photography. Loved his class and learned many great tips from him. He accepts late assignments and works with you to get a good grade.

FUNNIES PROFESSOR EVER. makes everyone feel comfortable. Like a laid back cool fun uncle to have around. Sarcastic and witty but professional and nice. Easy and fun class! Takes the time to explain and even though attendance isnt mandatory, youll always wanna go to class! 10/10 AMAZING

Chris is a very funny & sarcastic professor. If you cant take a joke, please DO NOT take his class. He will also pick on some students, I was one of them but it never bothered me, just learned to laugh about it. His class is super fun & informative. Interesting assignments throughout the semester. This class will make you love film photography.

I took Hansen for photo 190 and loved it his class is super easy he gives you more than enough time to do your assignments his lectures are interesting if you're into photography, he can be very sarcastic sometimes but it's funny! I passed with an A, take this class if you like working with film its super fun!

Chris is wonderful in my opinion and has a great sense of humor. To some he may seem intimidating, but dont let that get to you. If you have questions ASK. Hes more than willing to help if you seek it. Even tho the class is 4hrs long (most being lab time) I chose to stay even longer most days. I loved the class so much I am taking PHO191 with him.

Great guy, very sarcastic. If you cannot take a joke do NOT take this class. He will continuously make fun of anyone and everyone. He is very helpful and is very fun to be around. The class itself is not difficult as long as you put in the time and effort. Photo doesn't seem hard but you will end up spending HOURS on end inside the lab. Good luck.

one thing you will realize about this guy, he IS SARCASTIC, don't take anything personal. his class was worth taking for the heck of it. a lot of his students end up returning too so that proves he is likable. his jokes have hidden sexual comments behind them, pay attention.

First thing's first: Chris is VERY sarcastic [He's similar to House M.D. if you've watched that show]. Sometimes he'll pick on you and tease you a lot, but don't let it get to you, cuz he has good intentions =] He made fun of me a LOT but I always went along with it since I was sorta the "mascot" of the summer class. And always visit his office! =]
