Great person. Different style prof though, he teaches his interests well - which can be helpful when you take notes on his random tangents and it turns out to be on the exam! He's a fun prof, always fun to chat with. He loves stats, so taking a stats course or brushing up on some will definitely be helpful!

I regret taking a class with him. I should have waited until next year and taken it with a better prof. HE'S THAT BAD! Everyone I know in that class was practically failing their exams even though everyone studied a lot!! Don't take a class with him. He has tough exams, stingy marker, and not a good teacher!! stay away from this one.

He has cancelled a number of lectures so far this term, which may not be a bad thing as his lectures are useless anyway. The labs were totally disorganized. He came to classes and labs unprepared. Frustrating! Avoid him if possible!

Dr. Earle is an AWESOME prof!! He takes the time to answer any q's a student has, and never moves on in the lecture until everyone is clear. Always makes time to help if you need it, easy to talk to, and very personable. He also has a good sense of humour which makes it easy to talk to him. If you put in the effort, you should do well in his class!

He is a total scatter brain (He forgot to bring enough final exams into the final...a girl had to wait 30min before she could even begin!) The marks you receive in this class are subjective and he isn't really helpful. He spends more time emphasizing how boring the subject matter is rather than trying to make it interesting.

Awful teacher who more concerened about his own personal research than teaching. Marks hard and doesnt clarify what the hell he wants for an answer. I studied for 2 weeks for his final and i still failed. Weird since i had A's and B's in ALL my other classes...maybe tis because the other teachers dont get saisfaction out of making you feel stupid

He is the worst teacher I have ever had throughout all my years in University. He tests you on stuff he didn't teach or stuff he told you won't be on the exam. He is a stingy marker and just rereads the notes he gives the students on his website.
