Comment:

He is a very scary man, but an absolutely amazing professor. There's a reason the Screaming Black Bears Pep Band is well know and well liked. Without him and his guidance, I wouldn't be the musician I am now.

Rehearsals are demanding and mildly nerve-wracking if he's going to single you out, but you will make incredible progress as a musician and performances are fantastic. Avoid ticking him off, and you might get to see his dorky sense of humor. Really enjoyed working with him.

Marching band is pretty demanding at first, but totally worth it. White is probably one of the busiest university employees I've met. Enjoys what he does and it shows. Same high marks for pep band as well. Sometimes tells corny jokes to start conversations.

Pep Band is awesome. Later in the semester rehearsals are repetitive. There plenty of opportunities to play or get subs. BBall games are annoying, however hockey is awesome and everyone there is excited to be there. Much better than you high school pep band.

Chris is a very good hard working teacher. Percussion Class is very hard with allot of information to lean but he was very helpful and very clear on what he expected.
