Comment:

Dr. Malone is the best. She is straightforward and can be intimidating. She is super organized and you always know what she expects. I took PSY 230, 330, 430, and learning and memory with her. ALL OF THEM WERE GREAT. She is my favorite professor in the PSY department.

Comment:

A lot of people are afraid to take this class, and I was too! But believe me, if you have the opportunity to take 430 with Malone, DO IT! She is incredibly helpful and she is enthusiastic about everyone in the class achieving the end goal. She understands that the class is stressful, and tries to alleviate that for you. Definitely recommend her.

Comment:

Malone was very helpful when it came to helping students design their studies. Her expectations are clear and so are the instructions. PSY330 does have participation points, and it is a small class so she knows when you are gone. Coming to class is important to know what is expected of you. I expected to hate this class, and it wasn't bad at all.

She is a good teacher and explains the material well. There are only about 4 multiple choice exams and they are pretty simple. Using the online materials and reading the chapters helps A LOT! There are random in-class assignments that are used as attendance polls, so go to class. Enjoyable class.

Comment:

Stats is overall just a pain. I don't think Malone could've made the class easier or taught it better than she did, it is just hard to understand. However, the textbook is very user friendly. There were online assignments that were easy points and forced you to study. She offers extra credit, and you earn points through a lot more than just tests.

Come to class so you get the points for the in class activities! They are a super easy way to get points. Honestly, just go to class. It's a really interesting class and I really enjoyed her. If you have your phone out in class she will call you out on it because it distracts her SO MUCH. She hyper focuses on it. Good professor.

I entered the class not knowing what to expect out of a psychology class, as I have not attended one before. Dr. Malone made the material very interesting, and certainly understandable. I highly recommend her to those not only looking to be in the psychology profession, but like myself who needed to take it as a requirement for their major.

I have taken three classes with Dr. Malone. She is a wonderful professor. She is easy to talk to and very helpful. She made Experimental and Advanced Experimental (which I dreaded) two of my favorite classes.

Hated this class.The way she talked bothered me and going to class is useless unless you want some extra credits. other than that, its like there is no teacher for this class. You have to understand everything on your own.

Malone is a really good professor. She explains the notes very in depth and she also uses a lot of videos when teaching..and that's nice! I recommend her as a psychology teacher. She really knows what she's talking about.

Her lectures are a little boring, but I like her. She seems to enjoy what she does. It's pretty easy to get a good grade in the class, just some in-class activities (super easy, as long as you turn it in you get full points) about 2 really easy papers and then multiple choice tests.

Malone is a good teacher. PSY 113 is pretty easy. The tests are pretty easy and she posts her notes online. Just make sure to always go to class for the in-class activity points! I would definitely take her again.

Prof. Malone is lots of fun. Stats is hard, I'm not going to lie, but she does lots of problems in class and if you read the text and print out the notes you'll do fine on the tests. Just remember that you have to keep up with the work.

She tends to talk alot in a high monotonious voice. Taking notes off the projectery is impossibly because she goes through it so fast. She doesn't put much personal energy into her work, she forwards information directly from the book.
