He is a great teacher. Material can get a bit boring but still keeps you engaged. He is reasonable when you miss class for a legit reason. Make sure you submit briefs on time

This guy is a fantastic professor. Take Loy if you want an easy A, but take Pogson if you want to learn a lot about business law. No complaints at all.

The best way I can seem to define this class is as a review session. He expects that you've read the chapter and briefed the cases before class and therefore goes quickly, but still provides helpful examples. An A is definitely possible, but you will have to work for it through lots of studying and participation. Exams are tough, but still fair.

Exam #1 and #3 were quite tough, focus on picking the best answer even though there was often more than one that made a lot of sense. Final is extremely easy and no tests are cumulative. He is a great professor and you actually learn a lot and gain interest in the material. Participation is important and a great way to understand the material

Funny and passionate about what he is teaching. Exams are a little tough. They include a lot of application of the material. Outline the objectives and terms in the textbook, read the cases assigned, and write down theoreticals used in class and you will be fine. Take Loy for the easy A, but you if you will take Pogson you will know BLaw better.

His lectures were fun to attend and he cracked a lot of jokes. He gave a lot of examples during the class that would show up on the exam. Participation matters so try and talk a lot and outline the chapters before class. He curves the tests heavily so if you don't do well on the test you will probably still end up with a decent grade.

Professor Pogson is such a funny guy! Class was fun to attend and he made the information much more interesting by using hypotheticals. Tests are on the tougher side, but as long as you read the chapters and take notes in class you can manage to get a B or higher. Make sure you participate in class because you get points for answering questions!

I liked whims a person a lot. Tried to make a very boring subject interesting. Lots of reading but if you do it and take notes in class you will get an A. 20% of your grade is attendance and participation and 80% is on test. Gives big curves and if you show up to the test you automatically get a D.

Professor Pogson is a solid professor. I learned so much in his class. You can tell he cares about his students. He's also very funny. Read the textbook, listen attentively, participate, and you should do well in this class I rented the textbook from Amazon for twenty dollars whereas other people paid as much as 300 for theirs..

Pogson is a great guy who cares about his students. He explains things pretty logically and answers questions clearly. His tests are fairly easy, all multiple choice & T/F and he curves them too. Just read and study the textbook before exams and show up to class. You'll get an A. No homework in this class.

Great professor but a little difficult, requires a lot of work to keep up with no guarantee of getting a good grade. If you can't get Loy don't panic, but if you can wait and try to get him, it'll be less work for a better guarantee of a good grade. Definitely read and outline the textbook. Tests are straightforward and fair but can be tricky.

Fair tests, really large curves, great guy. I put a lot of effort into this 3 credit class and did not come out with a great grade, but he himself is very generous and very clear. The second best BLAW teacher. If you can't get into LLOYD's class, take him. You will actually learn business law, I know I did. Read and outline the textbook

Very good professor that knows what he's talking about. He makes you buy a textbook, but you will definitely use it often. Very clear in his explanations and is low key hilarious. Tests are fair, but he also gives great curves on them.

Class is once a week for 3 hours. I think he is a great teacher and an even better guy. Very subtly hilarious jokes and his tests are difficult but fair. I learned a lot in this class and even though I'm not ecstatic about law, pogson made it interesting. I would however say take loyd if your just looking to get by. Take pogson if you want to learn

Great guy. You don't need to read the text book as the chapters are assigned for there are no assignments outside a mid term and a final. Class participation is important, so speak up any chance you get. Attendance is mandatory and its only 1 time a week so go, bring your laptop, and hang out on it while he lectures. He brings up cool topics.

Makes a three hour class go by pretty quickly and to be honest you usually aren't there for much more than two hours. Very solid teacher and a genuinely nice guy. Teaches from the textbook but is great at explaining and giving examples. I found outlining the chapters to be pretty helpful.

Awesome teacher. Class is interesting, and super easy if you keep up. Read every week (dont let it pile up), take some notes, and then go to lecture. You should be more than ready for exam. Made flashcards for exams, highly reccomended.
