Comment:
Professor Baldwin is very knowledgeable about her topic: modernity (After all, she is the department chair). Although her class can be boring and difficult to follow, I learned a lot after discussing classes with a fellow peer. Seriously, if you want to do well, all you have to do is talk.

After I accepted that this class was a complete joke, as she doesn't actually teach anything, this class wasn't so bad. Easy grader, nice lady, but the class is discussion based and attendence/participation is 25% of grade. I didn't do chunks of the reading and still did well.

Professor Baldwin is a wonderful woman. Her classes are very deeply discussion based, so it's wise to actually read the material before stepping into the classroom (madness, I know). Outside the classroom, she's extremely helpful, and was even willing to help me with other class material. Things can get a little disorganized, but never too badly.

Going to that class makes me want to kill myself. The discussions are long and drawn out, generally dead-ending after 20 minutes. Luckily the classes were an hour and 15 minutes each. The grading is vague and arbitrary, and the amount of reading assigned is overwhelming. Very unorganized. You sit in a circle in class, so you cant even sleep

She is a very nice, helpful professor which always wants the students to be involved in class discussions. But sometimes that can b a problem as nobody says anything. She surely knows her stuff, but i just wished she'd do the talking more cause she has great things to say.
