Comment:

This woman truly cares about her students. She helped me get the help I needed for my mental health because she noticed something was wrong. Don't be scared to ask questions even though her reaction may seem different than most professors. She is one of the nicest ladies I have ever met.

Comment:

This has been one of the hardest classes I've taken my whole life. This teacher is very sporadic, is horrible at answering questions and overall didn't do a great job teaching this class. I had to retake accounting because of her. I tried to seek outside help but the test were super hard and a majority of my classmates were struggling.

Comment:

I was really dreading accounting because I had heard how terrible it was but Claudia made the class so much easier. She doesn't require attendance but you'll want to go because her tests are more on what she teachers rather than what's in the book. Most people that didn't come except on exams dropped or didn't pass. Great teacher.

Comment:

This is the best teacher in the accounting department. She has amazing lectures and her tests are identical to the study guide. If you struggle in accounting, she is the one to take it with. After failing ACC 2100 once, she is for sure the best and makes it easy.

Comment:

She is the reason I switched my major to accounting. If you make an effort to get talk to her outside of class (office hours), it will pay off. She took time out of her day to talk to me about my life aspirations and genuinely cared. I hadn't had a professor like her before this. Pay attention and go to class and you'll be fine.

Dr. Kelley is a funny old lady who really knows her stuff. She hands out an outline for each chapter, goes over it, and then does a bunch of practice problems. Her exams are tough but all of the information you need is there for you. If you pay attention in class, read over the outlines, and do the practice problems, you will do well.

Her exams are challenging but fair. Four tests make up 85% of your grade and an online ASUlearn quiz and wiley plus assignment for each chapter make up the other 15%. Use her study guides to prepare for her exams! ASUlearn quizzes, chapter outlines and example worksheets are very helpful for studying; the wiley plus and text are superfluous.

Dr. Kelley is an okay professor. Classes are usually wasted with her explaining how to do the problems without even teaching us. I had to go back in and read everything myself. Luckily I taught myself how to do it all and managed to get a B. Doesn't curve even if the class average for a test is a D. She doesn't care about students. She is tough

People in my class got pissy that they weren't guaranteed an A, but Dr. Kelley is a great professor. She is a bit scattered and can be a bit all over the place, but she gives numerous examples for every lesson. Work is required outside of class in order to do well. Everything on the exams was covered in class, people are just too lazy to study.

No doubt that this lady knows her stuff. However I'm not sure she knows how to adequately teach accounting. Kelley has ridiculously hard exams and if you try to ask her a question she cannot possibly give you a straight answer and makes you feel dumb for asking anyways. She is a nice lady but do not take her for principles!!!

Dr. Kelley has been a great inspiration and influence to me. Accounting is not an easy course, but she gives lots of examples to help you with the homework and the exams. She fully prepares you for exams and cares for her students. Go ask questions but don't expect handouts such as curves. Study class problems and you will do well.

Dr. Kelley is one of the most influential professors I've ever had. She goes above and beyond to take care of her students and she will check in on you if you're struggling and help you in any way. She genuinely cares and only wants to see you succeed in class and the real world. She's also extremely fair and her exams aren't bad if you study.

Dr. Kelley is one of the best in the accounting department. Her tests are fair and she teaches you what you need to know. She goes out of her way to provide us with class notes/handouts. Class examples are very similar to test questions. Like any accounting course, the classes are hard, but Dr. Kelley is one of the best professors I've had at ASU

Great teacher, very intelligent and knowledgeable. She's also funny as sh*t. Makes an easy-to-follow outline so you dont kill your hand with notes and so the material is easy to follow. Study your notes, in-class examples, WebCT quizzes, and VERY little of the book and you shouldn't have a problem.
