He will pour his heart and soul to help you if you ask for it. He's strict and doesn't put up with horseplay. By far the most enjoyable class I've been in though. If you study hard for his tests you'll do well.

Having an adequate understanding of one's field does not make one a good educator. Our class was frequently tested on material not covered. Assignments were not clearly explained. Students are expected to read his mind when determining answers to test questions and provide information not actually asked for. His grading policy is not very clear.

Great teacher, I really learned a lot in his class. Hard tests in that if you mess up one little thing he hits you hard. Also demands a hell of a lot of effort from you in his lab.

Gives a heavy work load. Sometimes you may have to figure out for your self. Which is exactly how it is in the real world. However, he is an excellent professor and an expert in the subjects he teaches. I came out of his class prepared for a career.
