Hardest class you'll ever take, but if you decide to work for it, it'll be the best class you'll ever take. If you come into it without being willing to apply yourself and aren't willing at admit that you're wrong sometimes, you will hate your life. That being said, if you decide to try things his way, you'll learn so much.

Dr. Yelton is a phenomenal history professor. He know the subject exceptionally well. He is very struck and tough, which is what the university needs. He expects you to care about his class.

He knew his stuff but other than that it was awful. He made you feel and look dumb if you asked a question. he grades harder than anyone. he is not helpful at all. don't recommend taking this class at all.

Hardest class I've taken at GWU. He's an incredibly smart man, but makes it nearly impossible to get an A. Take the class if you want to learn a lot and be challenged. The lectures are vital to the class, so don't skip.

Personally, I like Dr. Yelton. His course is hard, but within reason: if you study. He's very knowledgeable. Many don't appreciate his demeanor in class: they fail to realize that he a sarcastic man, with cunning wit. Don't take his remarks personally, see the humor, it makes his class awesome!

I really worked hard in this class but couldnt get any better then a C. He was so hard and expected perfection! He wasn't nice when we had questions and acted like it was the end of the world if you missed a class!!

Excellent, knowleadgable professor. Obviously knows his topic and teaches passionately. VERY difficult, but in a useful meant-to-make-you-learn kind of way. There is no doubting that you have to earn your grade in his classes. Would definitely recommend this professor if you are up for a challenge and are ready to take an active role in learning.

I absolutely HATED this class!! This man is a total jerk! He will NOT answer your questions! If you speak up in class like he wants you to and your answer isnt right he makes u look like a complete moron!! His tests were HELL I tell you HELL!!! I DO NOT recommend taking this class at all!!!
