one of the worst lectures i've had in a while. Class was small but there was no development of discussion. everyone zoned out because her lectures were either redundant, dull, or confused. She also seems to be stuck in the 1970's and has no interest is discussing women's history/movement post second wave.

I may have the class wrong. She is an extremely nice woman but a useless professor. Fortunately she's an easy grader and she makes attendance less of an issue than you'd expect. Would not recommend her, but she's not the worst one at GW either.

Worst instructor I have had at GW. Her lectures are disorganized and she tends to focus more on cultural history than constitutional issues. Assignments are extremely vague, and she is unwilling to answer questions to make them more clear. I would advise taking PSC 114 and 115 instead--you cover the same material, but actually learn something.

Prof. Harrison was pretty awful. I took the class because I wanted to know more about the US Constitution and I did not learn anything. She gives incoherent, vague assignments + NEVER returns them. I took 1 month+ to get the research paper back. No posted notes/slides...every class is unbearable lectures & redefines boring. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!

HORRIBLE CLASS! I love constitutional law/history. This should have been a great class. But Harrison is terrible. She is scatterbrained, unorganized and just a terrible professor. I dreaded going to a class that i should have loved. Do not take this class no matter how interested you think you might have.

Oh my God, what a boring professor. I know that she checks attendance during some of her lectures, but many times, just the thought of going is too boring. She is not mean but she does relate everything to Women's Studies though this is a Const. History course! Only handful of people ever read and there are large silences during class. DONT TAKE!

classes are boring and attendance is taken. readings arent that bad. theres 2 exams which are really easy if u do the readings. theres 2 papers. shes grades the papers very harshly & on your writing ability. she grades harder than a writing courses with the average grade being in the 70s. u have to like the subject to get anything out of the class.

This class is boring. The readings are dull, the lectures are dull, and kids walk out in the middle of class on a regular basis. This is all so much worse too because she really loves what she's teaching. Go to class, try to read (which I didn't), and make sure you speak up so she recognizes your name when she's grading your paper/tests.

She expects alot from your paper writing abilities. Lots of readings some important others not. You have to go to class she takes attendance. The midterm was identifications with alot of them and little time to complete. Speak up in class and make sure she notices you, and your a shoe-in for a better grade than you probably deserve.

Had research sem with her. She is a total postmodern feminist & she insists on giving any issue that spin. Readings were boring as hell & class discussion dragged. She's really nice (at least to chicks), answers all questions, assings relatively little & simple work + no exams. Yet, during senior year hers was the class I valued least.

From sylabbus/class you'd think 'easy A', but it's so not. Boring lectures (on BB), gives study sheet but still very detailed answers demanded. If you don't write/speak like an English Prof, then watch out. Interesting material, too bad she's teaching it.
