Dr. Mosser is one of the nicest profs in Guelph. He goes out of his way to help his students. For this class he told us what specific slides to study for the final. He also helped me a lot with my presentation. All in all, I feel like he truly cares about his students and wants them to do well. I would take any course he teaches.

Dr. Mosser is an average prof. His lectures are not the most thrilling to say the least, and his notes are terrible. However, he provides clear expectations for his midterm by providing a summary of the key concepts he wants you to know. His midterm was very straightforward with no tricks, and this is unusual for a university prof, which I respect.

Very dry material, he will even admit that. Good lecturer and has in depth knowledge of topics covered. Go over your notes prior to lecture to get the most out of it.

Lectures were less than stellar... However, he marks all of the key concepts and reviews and you are only tested on that. Super helpful outside of class - signed me in to this class without the prerequisite , and when I went to review my midterm just to see my mistakes he bumped up my grade without me asking.

Really helpful outside of class. Lectures aren't the most dynamic - keep on the textbook to stay engaged! Beware of TAs marking exams - went to see him about a low midterm mark and we found quite a significant number of missed marks due to poor marking. Expectations are clear and content is well organized. Looking forward to more classes with him!

He actually cares how well you do! He listed everything that was going to be on the exam and even made a study which in Uni is rare for a prof to do. He does have a monotone voice but who cares if your gonna do well in the class!!!! He will actually take time to explain stuff to you which is amazing!

VERY dry, boring lectures and he's really hard to pay attention to in lectures. If you want to learn, make sure you read the text and go and see him in office hours. He is much much better one-on-one and the material is not that difficult. The lectures however are very boring and hard to focus on, because of his monotonous voice.

Not a bad guy but his half of the course is god awful material. Very pedantic, tedious memorization type work with no problem solving. Unfortunately this course is required for a lot of majors otherwise I would say look elsewhere.
