Comment:

Dr. Grubb is a nice guy who is more than willing to offer time outside of class to help students. He had a great amount of energy and kept the class interested. He is very diligent about formatting and word choice in essays.

Worst professor I've EVER taken. Would avoid at all costs. Very unorganized, unclear, and inconsistent with his grading technique. Does not define how he wants assignments formatted and his lectures are basically him rambling about non-sense. I would NEVER take another course if it was taught by this professor!!!!

Dr. Grubb is the nicest Psych prof at BW. Research methods can be difficult, but if you take it with Grubb theres definitely hope for the future. He explains everything so well and clearly. He has his students do rough drafts so that way we can learn from our mistakes. I don't think I wouldve gotten an A if I took this class with another prof.

Prof Grubb was always trying new things and searching for ways to make his class more fun and interesting. Also he is always 5 minutes late so you can be too. Great guy I'd take another of his classes.

This guy is the man. His energy keeps class moving and time flys buy. Lectures are entertaining. You get study guides for all chapters, so the midterm/final are easy. The projects aren't too hard but he grades the research parts relatively hard. In summary: Take Grubb!

Wow where do i start? He's great. Easy to follow, great group projects, easy tests. And you'll actually learn something about yourself. He can be a little unorganized, but for a good student, that works to your advantage in this class.

Comment:

Research methods with Dr. Grubb was a blast. His tests are difficult and he takes it from the book rather than lecture. He is highly intelligent and makes class fun. He is always cracking jokes and bends over backwards to help you out.. I learned a lot and had fun in the process. I definitely recommend Dr. Grubb for research methods!

Nice, nice guy and very enthusiastic about the subject, but EXTREMELY disorganized. Also, the class itself is fairly easy but the exams are scattered and don't necessarily deal with topics we discuss in class. Be prepared for him to show up late every day (including final). Also, you'll need the book.

Great Professor. Extremely entertaining and although disorganized, knows his stuff, is very patient, and will bend over backward to help students. My favorite Psych professor! Take his classes and you will never be disappointed!

Dr. Grubb is drop dead hilarious. Makes everything very interesting and keeps you interested. He is disorganized at times, but its nothing life threatening. He is extremely helpful as well. Highly recommended for any Psych classes.

Very funny, very nice guy, but horribly disorganized. You won't know your grade until the end of the semester, but don't worry because minimal effort results in an A. Excellent professor though, and if you struggle with psych I strongly recommend taking him.

My favorite professor in the entire school. He's so humorous and keeps class fun and light, and we actually do learn things in the process. He seems a bit disorganized and gets things back to us rather late sometimes, but overall, he is amazing.

Dr. Grubb is amazing. He is so nice, always smiling, and makes his classes fun. He is always scattered and not the most organized person. He is my advisor and he is always willing to help. He is a great teacher and advisor,as long as you don't need him do too much organizing or scheduling for you. TAKE HIM, you will be glad you did.

I've taken three courses with Dr. Grubb and I still believe he is the best professor at B-W. He is genuinely interested in his students, loves teaching, and always makes time for anyone who wants to succeed as a student. If all professors were like Dr. Grubb our world would be full of students who love college classes.

Dr. Grubb is HILARIOUS! I always look forward to his class because he keeps you entertained for sure. He does talk very fast and is late to class almost every day, but the class absolutely flies by. His quizzes are moderately hard and there are a few projects but overall a great class
