Dan Ming's class for Auto 721 is an interesting class. At first, you would think his class is structured with his lectures and labs. As you take the course, labs become unstructured and you will get lost at certain lab assignments. Also, asking him a question isn't a good thing unless your classmates doesn't know the answer during lab or lecture .

If you're willing to work hard, and take his class seriously, you should do well. Motivated to teach those who try hard. Can be very unforgiving for those who don't apply themselves. Do not expect much hand holding or coddling. I recommend taking his class if you're 100% ready to fully apply yourself.

Dan Ming is a interesting teacher. He doesnt connect with the students on a friendly nor helpful level. Asking him a question about lab or hw is a bad decision. Students enjoy the class as much as they enjoy the teacher.Students seem to not quite enjoy Mr Dan Ming, unfortonatley.Only help you get from this class is out the book not through Mr Ming.
