Comment:

Took two of his classes because by the time of registration all other courses with any other professor were already filled. He contradicts himself and there is absolutely no clarity in his teaching. He goes off topic and at times were late to the point the class left. It is hard to understand at times. And there is no way to track your grades.

I took Science in Education with Dr. Nomishan. People do not give him enough credit. He is a wonderful professor with a big heart. Sometimes, he is difficult to understand, but is always willing to help you. He truly is brilliant and his class isn't all that difficult. Pay attention because his lesson really are valuable.

I do not mind tough teachers as long as I feel I have learned something. With Professor Nomishan I really learned nothing pertaining to math. Though he is a nice guy and the failure was not all his fault. But he was unorganized and really jumped with no real direction of where he wanted to go. And an unclear on when work is do. Just be prepared.

Don't expect how to learn to teach math. Don't buy the textbook. Spent most classes doing random math problems that were read out of a textbook. Most of the math used in this course are topics I learned in high school. He was very unclear about directions and what he expected. Often made the class feel stupid. Exactly how a teacher should NOT be.

*sigh* this class brought my stress level to new heights! Very agrivating, never remembered deadlines unless the class brought it up, always changed dates, taught items not included in the book, rarely used the book, cannot number tests, very nice guy and funny, but just not a teacher who should be teaching other adults to teach.

Too much focus on material that is no longer in the frameworks. There were very few good points made in class. He is very disorganized and his expectations are unclear.
