He's a good professor. However, he moves very quickly during lectures and does ALL his work with pencil and paper on a projector. So you better be a quick note taker. And there are no online notes SO TAKE NOTES I learned the hard way. He is very competent with lab work, it shows that he is a real engineer that has experience with "hands-on" work.

Had him for 260, he was a good professor but now its different. He's a nice guy and cares for his students but his methods for this class are not that great. More than half the class doesnt understand the material and he just keeps moving on. He hates PowerPoints, but there are almost no notes so it's very difficult to study this complex material.

Lincoln is very friendly and his lectures are good and he tries to have fun with them, he can be a bit fast though. The exams are medium-hard difficulty but he's a fair-easy grader while allowing a note card and bonus problems. There are weekly quizzes that are usually easy. Overall, he's a good professor and I will definitely be taking him again.

This is an example of a guy who really knows his stuff, but he isn't good at teaching it, at least right now. His lectures are intractable and even students who do well in the class don't seem to understand what is going on too well. He should find a better textbook and use it more.

Best professor. Do the homework, study and do the readings. He talks quickly at first but once you figure out a good way to take notes it's easy to follow along.Ask questions, and he'll do his best to answer them until you say you understand.

great guy, not that great at teaching, but not bad. he bring in blank paper and teaches u by drawing on it. not clear when he describes things to you. he dosnt understand that their are no prereq to his class. he expects u to have prior knowlege in the stuff hes teaching. he is ok. if you have the option i would avoid him, but if not then just stud

Awesome teacher. Labs are tough, but once you get to the end, you know way more than you thought. The book is not necessary, but manuals for the 68000 are provided. Work extra hard in the beginning to get ahead, its rare that anyone finishes all the labs by the end.

great prof. extensive real world knowledge. doesn't use textbook at all but expects you to pay attention closely in class. always available during office hours for extra help, and you will most likely stop by there before the end of the semester. requires a lot of software prep for the labs.

Very boring. Speaks to the class as though it's a conversation. Not much is taught in class, just a brief overview and he just throws you into the fire. Majority of class stopped doing HW after #5, and most had trouble with labs.
