Whatever you got in the exam will be your grade. not matter participation, no matter homework JUST THE EXAM. In mid-term grades i got an A, For the final i was really sick, i coudn't review some stuff. The final was about every single thing they did in the semester, so matter how many times i participated my grade was C-. i just think is not fair.

David is "old school" in his approach to teaching. He expects a lot of work outside of class, and uses lecture time for discussion and critique. Students are required to do their part - lots of reading, writing, and being organized - and if they don't, then he will not like you. I really appreciate the independence, some students dislike it though.

Has a temper issue. Seemed nice at the very beginning but got very angry and crazy yelling at class once he found out some students in class haven't completed his expectation of works. Agree on above comments, better stay silent, or don't take his class ever.

He's egotistical and hot-headed, he seems nice in the beginning but be warned - he has a crazy temper. If you have to take his classes, staying as silent as possible is the way to go. The last thing I wanted was a problem with him, but pretty much anything can set him off. He yelled at me in class and I'm a very kind and mostly quiet student.

I have taken a few of his courses and they are filled with a lot of content, his lectures are unclear and go on and on . He is a hard marker with unclear expectations and you will never know his bonus question answers on tests. He spends several classes on his own practice and his personal success even if it doesn't relate to the course.

I took one class with David in my second year at OCADU called Web Theory. It was a really tough class and my grades weren't very good but it was so mind-blowing I had to take another course in fourth year called Global Mesh. Again, great class and I did way better. I have to say he is one of the most inspirational people I met at OCADU.

Awesome class, I really learned a lot about a subject I thought I new something about. The other comments on here are bull?$&@. He was helpful and really knew the subject. The class I took was WebTheory. Take it you will learn something.

I've had a handful of bad teachers in my life and i would have to say i think he's the worst. Very condescending, very nasty. I am studying INTM, majoring in film and video and i will NOT take any of the classes he's teaching ever again. i would pay to see him replaced.
