He is one of the best teachers I have ever had. Before enrolling in his course I was terrible at Algebra. But Mr. May is an excellent teacher, if you're willing to learn and to work at it. I ended up taking him for all of my Math courses at AC.

I took this class online my last semester at AC. I had a B when I took my final. He gave me an F. I called him and he told me that I got a 0 on my final. How do you make a 0 on a final? It's impossible unless you don't show up! I was indeed there, and signed in. Ridiculous!!! I ended up taking the course over again at Tech.

Worst mathematical experience I have encountered. He will constantly single you out when you just want to see the problem worked to figure out what you messed up yourself. For being so strict on his students he can't even keep up with assignments given as well as what he's doing. Not to mention he will go out of his way to make you feel stupid.

Hardest teacher I have ever had. Went from being a high "A" student to not even knowing if I am going to pass yet. Not a "people" person, and gets aggravated when you don't understand a problem. My adivice...run and take someone else!

Nice guy. Teaches well. Likes homework/tests/labs HIS way and gets very emotional about it, so pay attention. He doesn't mind if students memorize formulas rather than work through the problem, which appeals to me. If I needed anymore math classes, I'd take him in a heartbeat.
