Incredibly intellectual professor. Class was Political Philosophy. Tough class, but Seligman runs a seminar style class very well. Recommended.

David is a great professor. I also had the pleasure of working with him for a few years on the Fisk Exchange program, where his sensitivity and intelligence really shined.Take a class with him and you'll be challenged and subsequently rewarded by your own accomplishment

Seligman likes to play Devil's advocate, which is a great way of teaching Philosophy. He's not afraid to tell his views, but is open to others, as long as they can support them. You can't just pull a random opinion out and expect him to say "Okay".

one of the worse I hv ever seen. he is an atheist, doesn't believe in soul stuff, he dislike Kant's philosophy (but I dun think he know too much about Kant's in fact). P.S. his reasoning skill is bad too.

Liberal when considering philosophy. I still wonder if he is Christian or what... Reading is the only homework. Discussion or active listening required. Seligman is an aged hippy who is a very interesting talker and may let a story slip out!
