-Only two problem sets (good and bad) bad in the sense that not much study material for his hard tests. -He is very tricky on his tests. Its like he teaches addition, but you need to know multiplication for the test kind of thing. -He should go over a lot more problems in class that would help with his tests...... -The final was unfair.

EEP 162 is a fascinating subject that requires a lot of math that isn't made that clear in lecture. Sunding is an OG in the field, and listening to him lecture is inspirational, but trying to apply what he lectures is frustrating and stressful.

Hands down the best professor I've had at Berkeley. I took his water econ class and it was awesome. He basically developed the field so he is very knowledgable. Really nice guy, approachable, and helpful. Lectures were crystal clear and exams reasonable.

Class was very interesting, but the professor seems to not care at all. He did not show up to any of the exams, no review section, even his syllabus was simple. Problem sets are long (20+ pages) not extremely difficult but you need to work on those ASAP. Get close to your GSI, that's going to be your first and last line of defense.

You didn't fail the mid/final, even though you think you did. The curve is as huge as people say. Skip the textbook and go over Sara's lecture notes (if you're lucky enough to get her as your GSI) before tests. get a study group on day 1 for those prob sets...seriously. Get a study group on day 1! Prob sets are long and tough.

Everything looks the same when he did it on the board. Feel that he doesn't clarify the differences between the models enough. Lots of math on exams but don't allow calculators. Extremely difficult.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! It is far from easy. I, too, like others need to retake the class over because of the poor job the GSI did in section. The professor isn't much better. THe exams are simply bad! They are nothing like what it is on the problem sets, concepts you wouldn't realized he gone through are what's on the exams.

He isn't very good at lecturing, but overall the class isn't so bad. The material is pretty easy, but he does a terrible job of explaining it. Just read on your own and you will be fine. Also, MT and Final are hard, but the curves are worth it. If you answer all the questions even 50% correct expect a B+ after the curve. Curve rocks big time

SUPER HARD CLASS. So much math in lecture, then come the tests and they were all theoretical! Where were we gonna study concepts off from? There isn't a textbook for the class! Got a D in the class so I need to retake it. GSI's don't help either. DO NOT TAKE!

Legal studies 147 isn't really worth the time; you may as well take game theory somewhere else, econ somewhere else, law somewhere else. Sunding isn't even that cute, and he's more interested in his research than teaching well. Nevertheless, he's competent.
