He's the best math Professor on this campus hands down! He knows what he's talking about, therefore he can explain it to you in more than one way. He's cool and super approachable. Makes references to stuff like the Simpsons! Hilarious! Let's you use notes on quizzes. IT'S MATHHH, so pay attention ask questions and you'll get an A

Psych stats last semester, did much better than I thought I would. Great professor, very understanding, recognizes effort and willing to help you with any questions you have. You can tell he loves the subject, and gets excited when you show interest. Expected a C, but I got an A and now love the subject! No longer afraid of numbers. :)

Awesome teacher, covers material thoroughly, is willing to help you with any questions you may have. Grades VERY fairly, He's one of those professors that is definitely out there to help. He is also very very smart. Great to have if you are a stats major or just as an intro!

I took his stats class over the summer in an accelerated course. The man is brilliant, very understanding, and a great professor. I consider myself pretty terrible at math, but I got an A in his class. He teaches you how you'll be using stats in the real world and on the job, which is something I find rare in profs. Psych stats = take him!!

Dr. Nelson was a very very very easy teacher. His way of grading homeworks, quizzes, and tests assured you of getting a very good grade. He was very helpful though most of the times he seemed very nervous while teaching.

Dr. Nelson really made Stats seem a lot easier (the SECOND time I took it). He makes sure you know the important things of Stats, and doesn't test on the tidbits of information that you'll never remember anyway. He's just great!
