Comment:

Professor Wiley is a really nice woman, although she can be a little confusing while giving instruction. But the confusion should be cleared up if you ask a question, or simply look at the instructions given on blackboard. A lot of students don't like her, but it's usually those that don't put forth the effort. She grades easy but focuses on format

Comment:

Never explained anything well and would grade opposite of what she would tell us. Would just read us the power points she already put online without much elaborations. Never understood the questions students' asked and gave awful answers and feedback. One of the worst professors I've had. Thank god she's retiring.

Dr. Wiley is the worst part of the psych department. She treats us like we're children. She goes over the simplest things in too much detail (ie. how to retrieve a password if you forgot) and makes us fend for ourselves on the hard stuff. She grades based on format, not content, and thinks she knows everything. I'm so glad to be done with her.

Super nice and you can tell she loves to teach. 2 Lab papers in the course... somewhat hard but she totally 'dumbs it down' for students. Information for paper, such as Lit. Reviews, are hard to understand.

Dr. Wiley is amazing! She is always there for her students and tells you exactly what you need to do for her papers. The labs are hard work but if you put effort into it you will do fine. She is very understanding if you need an extension. I would take any class she is teaching.

Very passionate about hey work & friendly. Tries her best to help students & cares about their progress. The lab had many issues though. Labs were for most of the semester & lengthy papers were pushed to the end (crunched by finals). APA paper writing could've been taught more effectively & more flexibility was needed on what was "right" in papers.

I had her for PY221 lab and PY222 lab. The best thing I liked about her was how clear she made every assignment. She would write out exactly what needed to be done in detail, which was so helpful! She is a fair grader and a very nice lady.

Dr.Wiley came off intimidating when I first meet her because I was not used to Arcadia school work. But she grew kind and understanding as I got to know her. She's very helpful.

Dr. Wiley is not only helpful but understanding as well. There is a lot of work in this class, if you get overwhelmed just let her know and she'll steer you on the right path. Not as intimidating as she looks. A very good, professional, personable professor.

She's really nice, although sometimes I wouldn't quite follow what she was talking about. She tends to stammer and talk "around" topics abit. However you can only half pay attention to her lectures, since she's posts her notes and study questions on blackboard. That and she curves her tests like 20 points.

Wonderful lady. Very helpful and interested in her students. She was a great advisor and was always supportive even when I was screwing up. Good teacher too! I learned a ton in her class and still remember it years later!

She's like your kooky aunt that doesn't stop talking and doesn't make any sense. Basically, she's a bit flighty. But she's a stickler for APA, which comes in handy down the line in the psych department.

She was a very nice lady. However, you do not really have to listen in class, but she does grade participation. You can get Cs in all your tests and still get a B- A- in her class.
