she has denied looking at my papers 2 times and one other time she looked at my paper and said shes not teaching me because I should have already known how to do it. When she refused to see my paper the 2nd time she said o could email her and I did and all I got was attitude back from her and she didnt answer any of my questions

Doc Bice is very imitdating at first. However, her class is very rewarding in the end. She has a very strict grading criteria, However, her grading criteria is very clear. I have never had a prof more helpful. She sets time aside to help you with your papers and basically tells you what you need to do to fix it. Helpful & loves her job & students

She is the toughest yet best English Prof you will ever have. I became an English minor in part because of her. It is completely worth the effort. She cares for her students and personally I think the most important thing is for her students to love the art. She definitely instills that in her students. Very inspiring.

This women is the best teacher I've had thus far and I'm not even an English major. She is straight to the point, cares to see students give it their all, and has one of the best hearts in the world for how hard she works to get students better. Be ready for a new experience and don't quit, it's very laid back once you get towards the end of year

Her reasons for taking points off are ridiculous. She is not helpful, she's unclear, her class is not interesting. She doesn't know good writing. She doesn't follow MLA guidelines or teach anyone how to be a better writer. Learning from her made it harder to write papers for my other classes. I have a 4.0 GPA and am a third year student, for info.

Loved this section on the Holocaust. Spent way too much time on work not only because of her MLA expectations, but also because she make me excited about what I was learning. Exp. are CLEAR! Show up & you'll know what to do to pass. The content keeps thing interesting. This class will influence your life forever. She made me a great writer. Helpful

I'm a writer and Doc made me lose interest at first by her overwhelming, criticizing attitude. As the semester continued, I realized she was just making me work harder for the grade I wanted. GO to conferences, they help! She is tough, only two people received an A in my class. If you're looking for an easy A, this isn't the class for you.

The best Professor I've had by far. Her grading is really tough but she is more than willing to help you learn and always available. I had Doc for 2 English classes. The first day of the first class I was very afraid of this little woman that loved King. I only read love stories. She is an amazing teacher who makes you want to learn. Her classes aren't easy, they are kind of like war. I mean that in the best way possible.
