I thought i was a good writer until i took her class! She is a very hard grader. Every time i received my assignments back, it had red marks all over it. LOL Be prepared!

I hated this class. I consider myself a pretty good writer. Well this class isn't only about WRITING! Our final report was about making an investment recommendation. It wasn't only about presentation, grammar, using the correct verbs etc but she really wanted an in depth analysis from a real life investors point of view. I don't understand her grad

In her online class, she had a step by step weekly assignment list, but her written assignments were difficult because her grading is tough. She always gives points off. Even on an assignment that I took to a tutor, she took 6 points off. She always makes you feel like you can't completely please her, but passing isn't tough.

I wanted to take Suchon but her class was full. This teacher is head of the department (don't take). The assignments are pretty easy, but her grading style seems kind of bias. She also gives you this big research project on a fortune 500 company and charity company.

I thought that the information was surprisingly interesting. She is an excellent, organized thoughtful teacher. You will have to write papers and they should show improvement from the beginning of the class to the end semester. It will be some work but she grades fairly. I would highly recommend!

Excellent teacher! Professor Griffin's class is very well organized and structured. Do not take during summer as you will lack time to fully prepare the assignments. Take this class early in your CPS as it will prepare you for all your business classes.

She is a hard teacher, but her class is very interesting. She is a hard grader, but she allows you to ask her a lot of questions. Very helpful! I just didn't like the oral presentation that we had to do, but overall good teacher.

I never liked writting, but I liked it even less after this course. She grades very hard. I felt like she got bored and colored all over my papers. If you are a visual learner, you may be distracted by the amount of movement her head does in one lecture. Read, do the assignments, bust your butt on the final, and you should be fine.

High expectations, but also highly qualified. If you get an "A" it is because you earned it, not because she gave it to you. One of the best professors I've ever had. I write SEC reports all day long at work and after taking this class found that my skill/clarity went up. She expects the best out of you and unless you are willing to put an effort into your grade you won't get your A.
