Denis Sweet may very well be the greatest man to ever live. Truly cares about his students, incredibly intelligent, and has a lot to teach about life. Stubborn about his opinions, but open to listening to yours and encourages you to think. If you have a chance to take a class with him, do it. You'd be foolish not to.

I cant speak tot his abilities as a language teacher, but there is no doubt in my mind that Sweet is the best teacher my expensive private education has ever provided. I've heard he picks favorites, but I would argue that being active in-class and interested in the material is enough to get on his "nice" list. And, His waggly santa-beard is coveta

An amazing professor who continually reached out to us to find out how we were progressing. He often pushes a certain agenda that is validated in logic. Learn what you can and do not try to contest his already crystalized opinions. Great man who has taught me so much.

I LOVE DENNIS SWEET! he is such a character-- very animated in class and always keeps you on your toes. but then some of the classes we had got into some pretty intense political/philosophical questions as well. he is very dedicated to his students and a brilliant teacher.

Hes crazy, **** and depressing. He grades very hard and cant explain why. Hes animated thats for sure but he can be frightening and his favorite topics are Kafka (auful!) and health(ie how vegetarians are better then others.)
