Professor Corbally is the BEST English professor at Harbor college! He is so caring and understanding and always responds quickly to emails. I had him for English 101 and 102 online and I enjoyed both classes.

He is AMAZING! So funny! You will read a TON and do LOTS of homework. 6 papers due in Eng 102. But one is optional. You don't need to read station 11 tbh. There is also tons of EC offers! He gives detailed feedback and is upfront about his expectations from day 1. Follows syllabus 100%. Even if you hate English, you'll LOVE this prof.

I took his online class English 101, and he gives you automatic feedback emailing you how to quickly fix the essay and gives you two days to turn it in without deducting points. Pay attention to the feedback he really tries to give his students a passing grade. I would 100% take his class again for English 102.

Professor Corbally is amazing! He gives good feedback wants his students to succeed. I took his class in spring 2018 and barely got the chance to give him a review. Highly recommend him.

I took this class online. This teacher is extremely nice, helpful, and understanding. I would take him again for other classes. LOTS OF READING. Expect to have weekly reading assignments, some including an entire novel. There were three essays and the rest were discussion and responses. On the weeks that essays are due we didn't have a discussion.

I had Prof Corbally for English 101, his class is entertaining and enjoyable, though be aware of there would be a good amounts of short and long essays due as the purpose of an English class. He offers extra credits if you go to Professor Rosas's workshop, take Prof Corbally for Eng101 then take Prof Rosas for Eng102, it is going to help you.

Professor Corbally is the best english professor I've ever had. I am currently taking his english 101 class online. He gives so much description for his assignments. They are not hard. There are discussions every week (1 extra credit discussion at end), 1 quiz, 4 papers ( 4th one is optional, can replace a previous bad paper) and 1 final paper.

Professor Corbally is one of the few professors here at Harbor that you won't regret taking. He clearly states what he expects from his students. His assignments are layered in a way where the workload doesn't become too overbearing. As long you keep up with his syllabus, his class will be as easy as you make it.

Corbally is a great teacher! Class is interesting and funny. Get ready to read, there are no text book needed but plenty of online articles. A lot of essays due but it is part of this class. Honestly just understand how to properly write in MLA format and attend class. There is a lot of in class assignments. I had to drop for personal reasons.

Corbally is a really good guy, but as a professor he is not the best. Hes a sweet guy, but his assignments are all over the place. I was lost more than half of the time in his class and I am an English major. If he is the only professor left to choose from then go ahead, but good luck having to deal with that class.

Mr. Corbally is an EXCELLENT English professor. I took his English 101 course online and even though there was a lot of work assigned, I enjoyed every minute of it. He is very thorough in his lectures, is easy to follow but you definitely have to work for your grade. He's a tough but fair grader and definitely wants you to pass. He's funny too!

Professor Corbally was great! I was introduced to so much literature I would of never had discovered on my own. I love that he gives you the opportunity to do four essays, keeping your three best scores. It is because of this I was able to step outside my comfort zone and do one of his creative topics without fear of hurting my grade!
