Comment:

Dr. Dharma is a mathematical genius. Taking her in statistics is one of the coolest opportunities I've had. The class is hard and will not come easily to most. 1 Print out her notes before lecture and review them 2 Do the voluntary homework 3 Use her office hours 4 She cares about her students (don't let her barking scare you she's really sweet)

Worst professor ever! When she did come to class she was heavily medicated & would fall asleep! Her notes do not add up to the material on the test & it is almost impossible to pass her tests! Your only grades are 4 tests & a final, so if you bomb one, youre done. Im not the best at math, but ive never made below an A, i got a D in her class!

Comment:

She's good at explaining concepts but she rambles and is very rude to her students. You have to print out all the notes for every chapter and section but she'll come to class completely unprepared and will borrow student notes. She tells you exactly what will be on the tests but if you struggle in stats do not take her. She's not very helpful.

I took the online class. She gave a lot of notes, never used a textbook. Not a lot of busy work. Went into the final with a 94 failed the exam, made a B for final grade. Final is worth 50% of your grade.

I took her for an online class and it is obvious that she cares about her students. She has notes for each section that explain what you need to know for the tests. She sent out reminder emails for coursework and gave feedback on tests right away. She encouraged the students to put in the effort and do well on the tests.

Comment:

(WEB)Elementary Statistics. HW + tests are ONLINE/Pearson and she emails you lesson notes. The notes are easy to follow. Visit her if you have any questions. It may be tempting to cheat but it's better if you don't because you'll actually learn. The final is a meeting IN PERSON, only allowed your calculator SO LEARN HOW TO USE IT DURING ASSIGNMENT

She can be rude to her students, and she allows her personal life bleed into the class. She means well, but if there are other professors available, I suggest you find someone else. Statistics is not a difficult course, and you can teach most of it to yourself, if you have the notes.

Her notes are super helpful! Please print them out and bring them to class. She really make sure you understand the material and is very passionate about math, so she can sense when you are no longer paying her attention. She really helped me understand and she dont test over anything she dont discuss. I recommend her for stat

I thought Professor Dharma's notes were really good at explaining Stat concepts. I didn't really ever need to email her to ask questions, so I can't really offer advice on her teaching abilities aside from what I've seen of her notes/lecture slides. Uses pearson for all assignments and have to meet for the final exam.

I did not enjoy the class. She requires you to print off her notes for class (sometimes 10+ pages every section!!!) but she provides a lot of examples for the problems and tells you whats on the test. Dont waste money on the textbook.

I absolutely loved professor Dharma. She is probably the most dramatic professor I've ever had, but my class found it amusing. She is incredibly clear on what to expect in the course & on tests. I put in a lot of effort in this class & it wasn't easy but the hard work paid off. The lowest test grade I made was a 92. I would definitely take again.

Dr. Dharma barely has an accent and she uses a mic so you can clearly understand her. All you have to do is print out her notes and follow along. Pay attention and do the homework even though she doesn't check it. Easy A. Also the book is not needed at all.

Dharma uses a PA system since her voice is soft. She's very, very clear-cut about the procedures she wants for each problem. Very good at giving feedback. She makes the class easier. It is called Elementary Statistics for a reason, and she understands this. Gives you exact breakdown of what's on tests. Don't buy the book. Good enough all around.

She has a rude attitude and is sometimes short with students. If you you do homework and study than you will be fine. Will have to study and work hard but it is possible to get at least a B. Just study!

Don't buy the book. She gave HW assignments from it and then realized ppl didnt have the book so she posted the problems online. I HATE math but I walked out of her class with B. She would work several examples and assigned ungraded HW and would go over it in class. On her tests she would give you partial credit. She is fair but be prepared to work

It really depends on your attitude on whether you and Dharma will get along. She knows her stuff, she's prepared, and she's ready to teach you. You have to print out your notes and simple follow along. Not hard at all. She does have a bit of an accent, but she uses a microphone so you can hear her better. Anyone who speaks English will understand.

She is amazing! Her notes are fairly easy to follow. I never needed to crack open the book. She tells you what kind of problems will be on the test. She covers material at a slower pace than most professors which helps to understand the material well. I made a 97 on her first exam! Must take!
